ABOUT EMERADE®

EMERADE® is used for the emergency treatment of a sudden, severe and life-threatening allergic reaction also known as anaphylaxis.

EMERADE® contains epinephrine, a medication that decreases your body’s reaction to an allergen by:

Relaxing your muscles in your airways which allows you to breathe more easily.

Helping to reverse the quick and dangerous drop in your blood pressure.

Relaxing the muscles in your stomach, intestines, and bladder.

EMERADE® should be used right away during a severe allergic reaction. It does not replace seeing a healthcare professional or going to the hospital.

EMERADE® is the only auto-injector that offers an option with a 0.5 mg dose of epinephrine.*
